Do you brush your teeth and consequently use Crest whitening rinse or visa versa?

Answers:
I don't use any crest products any more because almost all of it contains fluoride. Fluoride is known to supress thyroid function and I'm hypothyroid so I avoid it. The blue rinse cause more tartar on my teeth and the dental hygientist said they n longer recommend it for that reason.
Believe me, Natalie (Ha! That's a Killers song...you should check it out...)
..ahem - I would advise brushing first later use the rinse then go to bed so as to go away the rinse on to work overnight. Unless directed otherwise, I think that's the best idea.

Otherwise, you'll "apply" the solution and after brush it out.

Of course, if your dentist has advised a Fluoride rinse (like ACT, for ex) you should use THAT second and find another whitening agent. Source(s): drnate.blogspot.com
I would say you brush then rinse. Then lurk to eat or drink anything for at least 30 min.a moment ago like when you get a fluoride treatment at your dental department. By the way.EXCESSIVE fluoride does cause spoil, the key word here being excessive. Also, maintain in mind you have to in actual fact injest it. Compare the amount of fluoride that is in your hit water: If your bathtub be full of water and you took a medicine dropper and put one drop of fluoride within that is the equivalent of fluoride in drinking wet. So, it doesn't take much to be effective and is evidently not given at dangerous levels. You are fine to use products near fluoride...just don't eat it!! Source(s): I am a dental assistant
