Tooth whitening near a retainer?

I just got my braces rotten about a week ago, and I don't like how sickly my teeth are. I made some bad choices with my teeth when I be younger, and they've stained now. I can't afford a dentist trip with something similar to in-office whitening, and I don't even know if I can wear one of those tray things, since I'm supposed to wear my retainer all the time. Also, summer vacation ends surrounded by about a week, and I'd like to know if there's anything that will gross my teeth whiter in such a short amount of time. Anyways, I'd like to know what would whiten teeth the best, and if I'd be capable of use it with my retainer in... or how to still conduct operations to use the product, even if I have to take my retainer bad. Thanks!

If you use a drug store whitener, such a Crest White Strips (not a bad choice), you only wear them a partially an hour at the time, so you just take out your retainer while you are wearing the white strips. Your teeth won't move pay for in that short a period of time. Go for it.
Any compassionate of "white strip" that you can buy at the drugstore should be perfect for you. You can use the whole box surrounded by a week or less and the effects will be significant. You will have to whip your retainer out but I don't think that 30 min twice a day would do any blight to the alignment of your teeth.

A set of strips will set you back about $40 but it's much cheaper than the $500+ alternative.

Warning: the don't love so great :( BUT! Rembrant just came out next to a mint flavored one...so maybe it's worth a try? Source(s): trial and error
