Would using two whitening strips one after the other on duplicate teeth be pointless?

If I used a second one would not have any affect since I just used one?

You are suppose to use them day after day. These are the five minutes ones.

So would it be a waste or would it whiten them even more?
My mother always told me that when I whiten my teeth that store bought whiteners can work... if you wanna whiten them more then once a afternoon I would suggest doing it once before you wake up and once in the past you go to bed. In all honesty your teeth will be for a while sensitive if you do it more then once a day for longer consequently a week. Hope that this helped! Source(s): my mother is a dentist
I actually recommend definitely NOT doing them right after eachother... they can create some super sensitive teeth or gums. Just use as directed I guess, and not all at once... if that makes sense. Which it doesn't. What a bunch of backing I am, huh?
"> When you whiten your teeth, you're actually failure the enamel by removing some of the calcium. Porous enamel causes tooth sensitivity, and increases your risk of tooth decay. Enamel that's contained by good condition actually have a slight yellow tinge, because of the calcium.

All whitening products use peroxide gel (oxygen bleach). Bleach is an acid, so if your teeth are already porous, sour, or sensitive, or your gums are at all inflamed, you should not attempt to whiten your teeth.

And don't believe all the hype. Drugstore whitening strips aren't that impressive. Even the more potent whitening systems you get from the dentist won't give you the dazzling white teeth you see on actor and models. The only way to obtain those impossibly perfect teeth is with crowns and veneers---and Photoshop. They don't come to pass in nature.

If you do agree on to get crowns or veneers, remember that if they're too white, they'll a moment ago make your teeth look really big, really buck-toothed, and really fake.

Just maintain your teeth clean with a apt enamel-restoring, fluoride toothpaste, and try wearing lipstick in a cool-toned colour. The slight blue undertone will make your teeth look whiter. My partiality lipstick for this is MAC Pro Longwear Lipstick, in "Lasting Lust". This is a 2-step lipstick (coloured base & clear topcoat), and it really, really last!
