Teeth are very key but those people from Russia need to run see a dentist and pronto
Americans are preoccupied beside straight white teeth. You
see people on television and they adjectives look like they have
picket fence for teeth. It is kind of scary to see them they
look approaching wolves or dogs or something with these scarily
gleaming white chompers flashing at you. I think we own
been sold a bill of goods by dentists that everyone have to have straight white teeth because dental hygiene has enhanced so much dentist can't make money out of extractions or fillings anymore and they hold to make their money on crowns, braces and whitening. That doesn't mean I want to see race with a bunch of cavities but not everyone think that they have to have cosmetic surgery to look perfect.
If your teeth are clean and breath is ok I don't care if your
teeth are a bit crooked or not bleached white. It give you a lot more personality that the zombies on the box.

Body language in actuality places a lot of importance on smiles. It might freshly be national conditioning, but I definitely am put off by desperate teeth. Having endured years of corrective procedures in command to perfect my own teeth, I am somewhat intolerant. Also, bad teeth are sometimes more than in recent times a cosmetic issue. It could affect your bite, your jaw, and if not treated can become crippling. So no, I don't believe it's basically American vanity. I think it's international negligence.
I don't think what we see on TV represents what really happens within the whole of America. I've seen genuineness documentaries about real general public and they're teeth just look like everyone else's. Obviously you don't find abundant toothless people but then that's what it should be resembling, considering it's a rich nation. However, like one of the posters said, they have a cultural just right of beauty specific to them, just as other cultures own their own ideas about what is eye-catching and what isn't. In some countries, it's considered "fashionable" or "beautiful" to be skinny, whereas in others it's better to be more curvaceous. It's just relative. In the UK, TV presenters/actors/singers can hold slightly wonky teeth (though not serious train-wreck teeth unless they're a comedian or something) and they don't have to be blinding white (let's ignore Simon Cowell for a second). However, deeply of people over here get braces surrounded by their teens for free, or their parents don't mind paying, but there isn't an obsession next to teeth. Before that, the braces were seriously soul-destroying (I'm talking head-gear) so ethnic group couldn't be bothered or didn't have access, but now it's simply a valise of them being more accessible rather than desired and sought after. It's a cultural thing. It's something that we find to be attractive. Other cultures find other things to be attractive and exalted to appearance, such as women in some parts of Asia and Africa wearing neck rings to stretch the collar.
It is important to have vigorous teeth and brush and floss regularly, but as for straitening, it is not as important except in extreme cases, and I'm sure whitening is even smaller quantity important to health.
I entered my husband into a dental contest a few years back, and won him 40,000.00 worth of free dental work...and immediately, he uses them to smile at his new Lovers! LOL
