Well as you know insomnia is the need of sleep and it is perfectly normal to hold this as a teenager especially. Teenagers go through the stage of growth and nouns which leads to lack of sleep contained by all cases. Teenagers also go through stress and other cases only keep trying and do your best. I'm not sure about that doctor medication thing, try to work it out with him/her or if that still doesn't work try another one and see what they influence. I hope I helped.

my frnd had insomnia, becuase she be working at a stressful place. sometimes, stress can trigger insomnia, or some other type of problem. (depression, something at school, etc. ) if you eat medication, or sleeping pills, you surface dizy in the morning. i suggest trying to not be so stressful. you could try drinking milk before bed, spraying lavender perfume on bed sheets, smooth jazz, etc.
stay up all hours of darkness and dont take naps the subsequent day. go to sleep at a wearing clothes time and try to get into that schedule. your internal clock is probably messed up.
dont rob naps throughout the day. avoid drinking caffine, such as coffee tea and pop, after 3 pm. use your bed for sleeping individual...ex: dont talk on phone or watch tv lay in bed..
thats what worked for me. i had equal problem at your age...
you can also buy melatonin from you local vitamin store...it is a natural sleep aid..
it gave me impressively very very unpromising nightmares tho =/
hope that helps!!
Maybe your beds not comfy enough
i have this exact same problem.i just fiction there for hours

Tamazipam which is a benzodiazepine can help near sleep problems, please consult your doctor and ask what options are available, remember your the one who gets to choose your medication, below patients rights. You also need to speak to someone about the route of your problems, what is keeping you awake? Source(s): I am a C.S.W.
Are you drinking too much caffiene? I have that problem when I was in lofty school... I just have too many thoughts racing around surrounded by my mind. I find that if I read a book, do a crossword/sudoku puzzle in bed, I'll get really tired like greased lightning.

I also learned this meditation trick in a lamase class I go to with a friend. You lay on your back and close your eyes. Take equal open breaths in and out. Focus on your toes and tense them/curl them up and bear 3 breaths in and out, and release the tension on your exhale. Then strung out the muscles in your calves for 3 breathes, release the tension on your exhale. move up adjectives the way to your facial muscles, and really focus on your breathing. This helps me to soft down and relax my body while clearing my mind of racing thoughts. A lot of times I'll fall asleep back I even get to my face muscles. Good Luck.

By the road... forget the sleeping pills... there are plenty of ways to fall asleep lacking them.
I have like peas in a pod problem. I have had difficulty falling asleep for 14 years at smallest. My only recommendations are to try to cut out caffeine, especially in a couple of hours of bedtime, all out if you can. Don't eat or drink in at least an hour of bedtime as well. Exercise just about 3 hours before bed too if you can. I find i fall asleep easier if i am physically tired fairly than just mentally.

More things to try are to not use your bedroom as a multipurpose room, definitely do not do homework, view tv, etc in bed because you want your body to associate the laying down position within your bed with sleep. A dark gentleness room helps as well.

You can also try meditation, self hypnosis and the close to. Melatonin, a supplement may help as well. All within all dont stress it, if you cant fall asleep inwardly half an hour to 40 minutes get up and do something next try again.

There is also a lot to be said for getting on a set sleep schedule and not sleeping contained by on weekends.

Happy napping, and dont stress it. it wont kill you. Source(s): someone who knows what its close to.
