does not eat late at darkness, no caffeine, listens to ocean waves-sounds of moral fibre and this helps put to sleep but gets up 5-6 times per hours of darkness - just cannot stay asleep. Stable family environment/no problems.

self hypnotism. i researched it surrounded by the library and learned to do it myself. sometimes insomnia just happen, its part of who we are. tell him that when he wake up to try not to think, the active mind have trouble resting... and not to get out of bed, because sometimes when sleep is just impossible, lay in bed and staying comfortable provides rest.

If he like to bathe, let hi go in swimming, and then read him a book, or let him read. Once he get used to the routine his body will be better able to release enough sleep hormone at the proper time.

Try some melatonin - its an herbal supplement. It helps a person to sleep and to stay asleep. I dont know how much a child would involve however and would ( if it was my child) consult with her doctor almost that.

Some kids need a twine down time. If he is very active physically right up to bedtime, try making him transport it easy for a while (at least an hour) up to that time it is time to go to sleep.
