I'm a mom of 3 young children and I have catastrophic insomnia for the past month and a half. I enjoy dealt with it on and stale for all my life but it usually purely last a day or two later leaves but this time it isnt leaving. I think its time to clutch something but I want to be able to wake up if needed because of my children my 2 year still wake up some time. If I take Tylenol PM will I be able to wake up with out side effects? or is there some entity else?

There are lots of over the counter meds..
One I like alot is called diphenhydramine, donate it a try.
Likely its the active ingredient in your tylenol pm, but w/o the anal-gesic.
Please look at ways to curb the anxiety and stress level, I suspect its your mind keeping you awake?
enjoy you tried just taking a benadryll 25mg they make you drowsy. if that don't work i would travel to a doctor to see what's going on with you. maybe they can prescribe ambien or lunesta.

I would turn to the Doctor , and ask if there is something that you could take that isn't to strong. Because most sleep Meds are highly Strong and have A lot Of side affects the next Day , approaching A head ache , or through Fatigue. And that would make it very easier said than done to take care of the kids the subsequent Day. But I do recommend is doing something that calms you down before bed , Like A tub or having A glass of Wine. And I would ask A clan Member if they could take the Kids for one Night so you can try And get A biddable nights sleep. O r ask your Husband if he can wake up beside the baby while you try and get the sleeping problems lower than control.

You should be able to wake up beside that- I would try some of the over the counter stuff before going to the doctor. If you don't have a husband or boyfriend acquire someone to stay with you the first night until you know how the stuff will affect you, beware- I used to use these and they worked, but you will probaly not grain like getting out of bed the next day- I didn't
For me, if I take a sleep aid like Tylenol Pm, I am groggy if I don't sleep a full and nouns 8 hours. You may try to break one of the caplets into and take just one partially if one is too much. It might be enough to make you relax adequate to fall asleep. On the other hand, you want to know what is causing this, and not depend on pills that you could become dependent on. Consider this, do you drink decaffeinated drinks or food that contain it like chocolate up to that time bed? Some times this condition will require you to seek medical help. Hopefully it will outdo, but if not soon, I would at least tolerate your doctor know. Exercising in the late evening for some will keep hold of you from sleeping well. Stress can lead to insomnia as capably. Three young children is a big job. One isn't other able to take fastidiousness of themselves like they should with children coming first. Try to find time to relax, lug a long hot bath. Don't let it turn on too much longer without seeking medical advice. Lack of sleep will embezzle it's toll on ones body in many ways.
