I have really bad insomnia, even when I am extremely tired I can't sleep. I usually toss and turn for a honest 5 hours.It's so annoying and I'm drowsy all day. I don't want to bear any sleeping pills, I'd prefer a natural remedy or something. I'm not really stressed at least I don't assume so...Is insomnia common?

I am the same method. I don't actually fall asleep until 3-5 am! Even on the days I work I don't sleep until slowly. I only work part time starting at midday so I think that's why I don't go to sleep until unpunctually.
I have totally stopped taking ANY pills. They don't help you sleep normally-they a moment ago zone you out for hours...and days. I couldn't even move once because I was so drugged on pills.
I think grasp to sleep around 11pm...try doing a crossword puzzle or reading a boring book. No TV. Light music like classical is what I like.
No food or sugary stuff any. Try tea or water.
Make sure you exercise loads during the day this will comfort, also stop doing work and just relax about an hour beforehand your bedtime. If you can't sleep then try getting up and doing something else because you can get into impossible habits.
If all else fail try using Sleepeaze, they are not proper sleeping tablets and you can get them at the chemists.
