The very best treatment is plenty of physical exercise. If you exhaust yourself physically during the day your body requests sleep and there is nothing that you can do to stay awake. Get out in that and make your body work hard so that you merely have enough verve to crawl into bed. If not then sleep on the floor.
to rid yourself of insomnia one must go to sleep.
Eat A LOT! When your full you get tired.
Or masturbate. The endorphins released will relax you and you will eventually sleep. Source(s): Premed
Eating before bed is keeping you awake? What are you intake? Sugar? Spicy food? There are a ton of reasons you may have trouble sleeping but since this seem to be tied to your hypoglycemia, ask your doctor.
take nyquiil or a sleeping pill I did for a couple days and now its not gone but near out sleeping pills I can go to bed and wake up much easier than beforehand.
Perhaps you can find some useful information within a web search for insomnia + "untaught remedies".
Try getting some medication perscribed to help u sleep
Well, you could try all the natural/home remedies i.e. drinking "sleepy time" tea, or thaw milk, or taking a hot bath right before bed, or you could try Valerian which is an herb that have been long used as a remedy for insomnia, or you could try Melatonin which is a popular remedy to help society fall asleep when the sleep/wake cycle has be disturbed, also theres kava; Kava is an anti-anxiety herb that may be helpful for anxiety-related insomnia
Theres also a ton of relaxation technique such as yoga or meditation that work for some.
Sometimes changing your diet can help, examples of some change one could make would be:
1. cutting out caffeine
2. avoid sweets (especially at bedtime)
3. devour magnesium-rich foods: Foods rich in magnesium are legumes and seeds, obscurity leafy green vegetables, wheat bran, almonds, cashews, blackstrap molasses, brewer's yeast, and whole grains.
4. munch through foods that help you sleep: Tryptophan is an amino acid specifically a precursor to serotonin, which is then converted to melatonin. Carbohydrate snacks such whole pellet crackers before bedtime may help to promote sleep. Just be sure to stay away from sweets.
Aromatherapy have been proven to help some folks sleep too
The scent of English lavender has long been used as a folk remedy to relief people fall asleep.
Also exercise can be a factor too. Lack of exercise can contribute to poor sleep. Muscle stiffness and stress build in the body. Exercise can promote deep sleep that hours of darkness. However, intense exercise too close to bed can increase adrenaline levels, leading to insomnia.
Theres a ton of other things you can try close to acupunture, traditional chinese medicine, and so on and so on...
AND if none of those work you could try seeing your doctor about prescription sleep aids. Their are over the counter sleep aids but I believe some of them can be habit forming so I'de be carefull about taking them too much...
I've have alot of trouble with sleep myself so I've researched alot about it as you can see...hope this help:)
