I've had psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis for over one year now and it's a sickening disease. I've tried external creams, shots, and Remicade infusions. I've also lost my hair and lost my finger nails and toenails. I've have to wear slippers for over a year due to the loss of my skin on the bottom of my feet. The has be devasting to my mental state of mind as well as my social activities. I scarcely go out of the house because it's difficult to walk and do every daytime activities like I use too. When I do run out I have to use a wheelchair. My doctor currently dropped my Remicade infusions and will put me back on my Embrel injections along next to Raptiva. This will require me to have 3 injections per week. Thank goodness shots don't bother me. Is their anyone out their who can identify next to what I'm going through. I don't wish this physical pain on anyone. I don't know from sunshine to day how I'm going to feel physically or mentally. It is a chronic weakness that will never go away...

My husband has it too on his hand and feet. He was using Ultravate but they quit making it. There is a investigational lazer treatment at our dermatologist's office that they say is great. He also uses psoriasin and plastic gloves. Lots of foot lotion too.
