I have had problems beside PE basically my entire adult go. Yes, I am the very definition of a minute man. However, two nights ago while have sex with the wife I felt I could move about on forever without c******. After about 10-15 minutes my wife asked if I could finish up b/c she be getting sore. I actually had to focus adjectives my attention on having an orgasm and even then it took me a while. I thought this might be merely a one time thing but while masturbating last darkness in the shower it got to the point that my arm be getting tired b/c I was going so long.
I am thinking the reason for this is b/c I started taking Cymbalta in the region of 3 months ago for depression. I knew that this was a possible side effect but I did not realize it would appear that suddenly or hold such an effect. Has anyone else had this come about so suddenly from using Cymbalta (or any other antidepressant?) Is this merely temporary or does it last as long as I thieve the medication (b/c I'm really enjoying it?)
Answers:
Don't sweat it dude. I too experienced a delay within reaching an orgasm shortly after I began taking Cymbalta. When I would masturbate, I would have to thump my meat like it owed me money! My wife also complained about how long I would pinch to ejaculate. Once I stopped taking Cymbalta everything returned to normal. Funny that I call it conventional. I mean what is normal? As for it individual temporary... I don't know. I wasn't on it long enough to really contribute you an honest answer. I am planning to begin taking it again. I use it to help me near my drinking problem. Hope this answer helps ease your mind.
I saw my shrink yesterday give or take a few problems caused by citalopram of the opposite make-up, I suggest you see your Doctor, all antidepressants seem to wreak unpleasant sexual side effects. Good luck. Do not ever take citalopram.
Delayed ejaculation is some of the side effects of anti-depressants like lexapro, celexa etc. It may or may not dance away with time, but if it bothers you, you may try another anti-depressant.
BTW, they all work differently surrounded by different persons, so it's not advisable to say "don't thieve this one or that one".
Maybe, you can skip a dose to see how that effects, but talk to your doc before doing anything.
