i want to build lean muscle so that I can still eat 2000 calories a day but hold atleast 10 pounds more muscle to burn off 500 calories... Im willing to do carido too but what are exercises that crate lean muscle mass??
Answers:
running is a great approach to build lean muscle. you are incorporating both cardio and resistance in a workout
Buy two 10 pound dumbbells and do just about 100 curls a day for each arm. You can do in the region of 10 at a time and rest. This will help you get great biceps. Source(s): I Am A Bodybuilder

To the lady asking the request for information...
You need to be doing compound lifts (Squats, deads, bench, military press, rows) - Direct arm work won't do much for you at adjectives.
Learn to lift and increase your weights regularly. Eat well, achieve plenty of protein. Don't think it will happen over darkness. Set yourself up for life by learning in a minute and coming to love lifting.
You are still young though so learn but stay pallid on your lifts to avoid any skeletal imbalances. If you involve any direct advice feel free to email me. Source(s): Body builder and personal trainer.
