**help. gymnastics and stronger joint?

I just started taking gymnastics. I love it but I'm having a easier said than done time pushing any farther. It makes my wrists and back and ankles hurt. I couldn't amount out why until my mom told me it might be the fact that I don't drink milk and more than likely enjoy a lower calcium in take. Should I start taking Calcium supplements or will it really own no affect in my problem?
I need a instrument to get stronger. I do go to the gym alot but I don't come across to be getting any stronger.HELP ME

I don't think you want to go so far that you take pills.

I would basically drink milk if I were you.

Good luck!
First of adjectives. Gymnastics is a way tougher sport than many come up with. Doing a tumbling pass can offer more stress and strain on joint than many other sports just because of the further G-force exerted in the performance.

Aside from making sure you properly stretch out the areas you are concerned beside (which if you just started the class, you may not be), it may be just a issue of body composition (weight, height, and angle of body) in relationship to the floor or apparatus involved. In other words, how you are performing a stunt may be putting more strain on the reciprocated than it should.

It won't hurt to make sure to drink milk for calcium, but I'd look closer at your form during practice. (Or have the coach back you with this.) For example, a back handspring can put deeply of stress on the joints you mention IF your form isn't right.

Good luck. Source(s): 8 yrs. of gymnastics
Milk and other dairy products certainly won't hurt, and they are important for strong bones and teeth.

However, the TRUE solution is Glucosamine Chondroitin. I flew all the way from Chicago to Los Angeles to achieve that advice, and I've been a loyal consumer of this ever since.

Before taking Glucosamine Chondroitin, my shoulders used to discern like they were completely ripped apart, or full of acid. Then I started taking Glucosamine Chondroitin, and within one week I feel much better. I figured it was only a coincidence, but my condition just kept improving and shooting up.

I always buy mine at Jewel/OSCO. I don't know what supermarket-drug store combination is near you, but they usually enjoy this product on sale for 50% off every couple months. Then, I stock up on it. I get hold of the triple strength. It comes in 180 caplets. OSCO's brand is called "Equaline".

Remember, your joint are not indestructable. Getting stronger won't completely protect them against injury. Be cautious, and start taking this product. It's like a miracle.
Try supplementing with glucosamine twice day by day it's an amino sugar used to create cushioning fluids and tissues around joints.
As a lady u must other consume lots of calcium regardless of whether u r a gymnast or not and more so if u r one. supplements wont harm if taken in moderation. but only just take a very right diet full of protein and some carbs too along with calcium.A multivitamin will also be of help etc . enjoy small meals 5 times a day instead of 3 big ones. Make sure not to over train urself which is wat ur probably doin I suppose. coz at hand is no reason why u'll not get stonger otherwise. u can contact me thru email if u involve more help.
I hear ya! I got alike problem, but getting into shape will be hard on your body. Is what I Was told.
