I use Advil and cranberry pills and it usually help within a couple hours and I can rest. I sit in a really thaw out bath and drink water at impossible to tell apart time.

The bacteria is ingestion away at the lining of your bladder. You can get AZO or any other urinary dull pain suppressant over the counter (similar to pyridium) at any drug store.
You should only use the AZO for a couple of days until your symptoms are gone. Note that any urinary pain suppressant can turn your urine muddy yellow to even reddish looking, so don't nouns because it's not blood. I would suggest wearing a panty liner until you stop the meds.
