My granddaughter has been contained by pain for almost 5 months. She's 12 and the pain have been in the right side. She have a HIDA scan in April showing her ejection fraction at 67% which the Dr said was commonplace. He had her on a low fat diet and her affliction level was other 4-5. Kids only know they are in aching and don't really pay attention to what causes it to dance up and down, so she couldn't say that it was worse after ingestion. She also didn't have the typical adult symptoms of gas, throwing up and nausea, except on exceptional occasions. Just constant high level of pain. The doc recommended I feed her some fried chicken and french fries, so I give it to her the night before her MRI which still showed mundane although her pain spiked to a 9. The next darkness I fed her fried pork chop and baked potato with sour cream & butter. Her HIDA scan the subsequent morning showed an ejection fraction of 5%. Finally we had proof that her gall bladder be bad after 5 months, but the doc is recommending she one and only stay on low fat diet because 20% of people still hold problems after surgery. That means she's in constant strain of 4-5 forever. Not acceptable. I want to hear from people who have their gall bladder out whether they still have problems or not. I consider 80% chance of no more pain is much better than no arbitrary. Please let me know how your surgery went so I can trademark an informed decision. Thank you.
